Sherolyn Dorman was born in Fort Myers, Florida and has lived there all of her life. “I love the beaches, making friends, having family here. I love the sun and being able to be outside and have my windows open in the winter time. I especially enjoy all of the arts, including all the plays and dinner theater. We have a great symphony. We have a lot of restaurants and shopping…golf courses and tennis courts. It’s great to have three universities here…go to college and have a choice of living on campus or at home. There is something to do for all ages from birth to over 100 years old!”
A few of Sherolyn’s personal favorites: the Edison & Ford Winter Estates, Naples Depot Museum (a histoical train station), the butterfly gardens, Royal Palm Dinner Theater and Barbara B.Mann Performing Arts Center.
Sherolyn has worked as a dental assistant, as well as an ophthalmologist’s assistant.
“I was always very interested in real estate career, but did not want to work as a REALTOR® until my children were grown. I knew how much time and dedication it would take to be a REALTOR®. I had owned my own real estate franchise with a partner for years. After that, I was with another, larger firm for twelve years. I wanted to go back to a more family-oriented, friendly office that would stand behind and work with their agents. I knew the broker and a lot of the agents. I chose CornerStone Coastal Properties.”
Her love of helping people extends beyond the real estate industry. Sherolyn is devoted to her church and the Florida United Methodist Childrens Home.
An interesting fact about Sherolyn: “God gave me the gift of singing. I have been a soloist most of my life and sang for years with the Southwest Florida Symphony Chorus. I have done a couple of benefits for the symphony. That was a joy for me to do.
